I WISHED
I wished and wished for the woman of my life
But my wishes never came true
I wished for a woman to want my touch
But my wishes produced nothing pure
I wished for a woman to enjoy my kisses
But my wishes were all misses
I wished for a woman to communicate with
But my wishes turned to dust
I wished for a woman that fit just right
But my wishes left me alone at night
Still, I wished and wished for the woman of my life
Then one day there she was
The wish I had wished for I thought I knew on site
She too knew it was right
I felt that my wish had come true
She felt hers had too
When we were in each other’s arm's it felt so right
She felt it was right too
When we kissed it felt so right
She didn't want to stop
When we fit just right it had to be
She said that was good
But low and behold for wishes true
For evil comes of wishes too
She said let’s just be friends
I said I love you too
I wish and wish for the woman of my life
